Hygeco International presents AARDBalm at Funeral@Work

The annul Funeral@Work trade fair was held in Haasrode, Leuven (Belgium), on 16 and 17 February 2008. This is the only trade fair for funeral professionals in Belgium and it again drew large crowds this year. Hygeco International - the leading supplier in the funeral industry - also took part in Funeral@Work. The visitors were introduced to the wide range of products and services of Hygeco International such as cosmetics, scissor trolleys, urns and equipment for thanatopraxy.

There was also a lot of interest for AARDBalm, the alternative to Formaldehyde. Some five thousand deceased have been tended using AARDBalm over the last eighteen months. “The results are entirely comparable to Formaldehyde”, says Patrick De Meyer of Hygeco International. Our principle is that the deceased is placed on the bier as naturally and hygienically as possible. AARDBalm guarantees excellent results and reactions are extremely positive.”

AARDBalm is also being used extensively by Dignity Caring Funeral Services, one of the UK’s single largest funeral services providers.
