This assistance concerns both the recovery and preparation of bodies, supporting identification teams as well as repatriating the deceased.

To help our partners work effectively and professionally, whilst at the same time respecting and preserving the body, we have developed a mobile mortuary in the form of a refrigerated tent. To respond to the imperative requirements involved in managing this kind of event, this rapid intervention tent – which can hold 20 to 40 bodies – was designed for rapid installation. It can be assembled in 2 to 3 hours depending on the arrangements, and can be easily transported to any disaster area anywhere in the world. This allows the teams on the spot to do their work under the best possible conditions.

As proof of our experience, appeals to the services of Hygeco International were made during the tsunami (2004), the air disaster in Venezuela (2005) and the boat disaster in Bahrain (2006).
